How to Model a Store Locator Page

We commonly see e-commerce websites or even marketing websites include a store or office locator to show where their services and products can be found in a country or across the world.

Page structure

Static Fields
Dynamic Zone

This section will be static and will always on top of the page. It consists of:

  • A Title field fixed to H1
  • A Rich text field with normal text option only

This section corresponds to the first Slice of your dynamic zone dedicated to your different stores. Each store Slice consists of:

  • A Title field fixed to H1 for the name of the Store
  • A Title field in H3 for subtitle of the address
  • A Rich text field with normal text for the address details. You can also decide to use a Key text field instead.
  • A Title field in H3 for the subtitle of opening times
  • A Rich text field with normal text for the opening times details
  • A Geopoint field to paste the URL of the store for the map

Since this is a second store Slice you'll be able to add a store on the fly very easily using the same Slice as above.

How to set it up in Prismic

  • Create a new singleton Custom Type.
  • Copy the JSON below and paste it under the "JSON Editor" of this new Custom Type.
