Repository Settings

Manage general repository options, user access, and development configurations.

Each repository in Prismic has its own settings panel. Here you can configure general options, manage user access, connect integrations, and set up development tools. Some settings are for administrators, while others require developer knowledge.

General settings

  • Repository: Update the display name and image for your repository in the dashboard. The repository’s name and URL is permanent and cannot be changed.
  • Users: Invite, remove, and manage user roles. Learn more →

  • Usage Dashboard: Track your API calls, storage, and other usage metrics. Learn more →

Environments

Create and manage repository environments for staging, production, or testing. This is a paid option on yearly invoiced Platinum plans only, and a feature on custom Enterprise plans. Learn more →

  • API & Security: Control whether your repository’s API is public or private. Developers can also generate access tokens for integrations and API tools.
  • Previews: Configure live previews of unpublished content. Learn more →

Danger Zone

Delete a repository

Only the owner can perform this action.

Go to Settings > Danger Zone and click Delete the repository. Type the repository’s name to confirm, then click Delete the repository again.
