September 30, 2025New: Your Latest Releases Now Appear First in the List
We’ve made a small but helpful change to how your releases are organized:
New releases will now show up at the top of your release list.
No more scrolling to find the release you just created. This change makes it easier to:
- Quickly find your most recent work
- Stay focused on what’s coming next
- Keep your release list tidy and predictable

Link field updates
UID and highlights in the search modal
- When you are creating a link to another page in Prismic e.g. you're working on a blog page and you want to add a link to your home page, well when you search in this modal you will now see a highlight to show why results have been returned. For example, if there has been a match based on the page name or on the UID then you will see these items highlight

Broken Links
- If a user has a link to a page that no longer exists (e.g. it has been archived or deleted) we show this is a broken link

Image field updates
- You may have observed that an empty image field in Prismic looks like a dropzone i.e. a place where you can upload an image. This was done on the assumption that one day it would become a dropzone and that is now the case. Concretely, this means that when you are working on a page with an empty image field, rather than uploading an image to the media library and then selecting it and adding it to your page, you can simply drop an image onto the image field and it will be added to your page

Bug fixes
- We fixed an issue where actions/changes performed in Prismic were not reflected immediately on another part of the screen. For example, you created a new locale but it is not immediately available in the copy to a locale modal and you need to reload the page to see it.
