Coming soon: a fresh login experience and improved security

Get ready for an upgrade! We're currently hard at work building a completely new authentication system behind the scenes. Our goal is to improve your account security and make it easier to log in to Prismic.

Step one: a new login page

To ensure a smooth transition, we're rolling out these changes in stages. The very first thing you'll see coming soon is our refreshed login page.

It’s the new front door for the security and usability improvements landing soon. While the design will be updated and modern, the way you log in will feel familiar for this initial step.

Why the change?

This is the first visible part of our ongoing effort to bring you best-in-class security and a frictionless experience when accessing your account.

What's next?

This updated login page is the first step toward deeper improvements in our new authentication system, which we’ll be rolling out progressively.

Stay tuned!

Added email verification to boost account security

Starting May 12, 2025, Prismic will introduce a one-time email verification step for users who log in with their email and password. This quick step will confirm your email address to help improve account security, confirm ownership, and ensure reliable account recovery.

What to expect

When you log in on or after May 12, you’ll see a prompt inside the Prismic app asking you to verify your registered email address.

  • This is only required once per account.
  • You won’t need to verify again unless you change your email address.
  • No action is needed until then — we’re simply giving you a heads-up so you’re not caught off guard.

Does this apply to you?

  • Yes, if you log in with an email address and password.
  • No, if you use GitHub or Single Sign-On (SSO) — nothing changes for you.

Need help?

If you have questions or need help updating your email address, our support team is here for you.
Thanks for your understanding as we roll out this small but important security update.
