API Explorer

Hello everyone,

Today we're excited to announce the release of Prismic's API Explorer!

With this new tool, you can explore your API content directly in the browser, build complex queries using a visual editor, generate @prismicio/client code snippets, and share your requests with coworkers or support using shareable links.

Long-time Prismic user? You might remember the API Browser — the new API Explorer replaces it with a fresh, modern interface designed around today's usage of Prismic Document API and @prismicio/client.

🚀 Try the new API Explorer:

• Visit /builder/explorer in any of your Prismic repositories to explore your content privately.
• Or head to prismic.io/explorer to use the public version, or check out this example request that uses a fulltext filter to fetch this very page.

We hope the API Explorer becomes a helpful tool as you build with Prismic — whether you're just getting started with @prismicio/client, or you're a seasoned user looking to better navigate your content. You might notice some features, like orderings, aren't available just yet, but they’re on the way. We’re actively working to bring even more capabilities to the API Explorer, so stay tuned for updates!
