In-app banners

We want to make it easier for you to track your resource usage while you're actively working on your projects. To provide immediate visibility into your API call and CDN bandwidth consumption, we're introducing in-app usage banners right within the Prismic interface!

Why these banners

Understanding how close you are to your plan's allowances shouldn't require interrupting your workflow. These banners are designed to give you real-time feedback directly within the application, helping you stay aware of your usage levels as they change.

How it works

Our system tracks your API and CDN usage against your current plan. As you work in Prismic, in-app banners will appear at key thresholds to keep you informed.

• Quota alerts: In-app banners will appear as your usage reaches 80%, 90%, and 100% of your plan’s included quota.
• Limit alerts: If your usage goes beyond the included quota and approaches the plan’s hard limit, additional banners will give you advance warning at 80%, 90%, and 100% of the limit.
• At 100%: The final banner confirms that you've reached the plan’s hard limit. After this, your plan is automatically upgraded to the next tier that fits your usage — ensuring uninterrupted service and fair resource allocation.
